If you are a student at Siwanoy you probably have heard of the outdoor classroom. According to Mrs. Gilbert, the outdoor classroom has been a plan for years, and we finally started. At 8:30 in the morning on December 18, Siwanoy held a groundbreaking ceremony. First, Mrs. Gilbert made a speach, it was about how they planned doing it and who she thanked who helped them. Then, Andrea Gottfried made a speach about who she thanked and the help of it. Then finally Dr. Champ made a speach. During this some fifth graders were videotaping it and the rest are watching. Then the moment of truth was the shovels going into the ground. Now, they added cement.  It is supposed be done in the spring and we are so excited!
